Greg Wick has over 38 years of experience in the land title industry and is President and CEO of Pennington Title Company. He served on the South Dakota Land Title Association Board of Directors for six years, is a past SDLTA President, and a current member of its Legislative Committee. Greg was also a member of the Title Standards Revisions Committee of the Real Property, Probate & Trust Section of the South Dakota State Bar during its multi-year Title Standards revisions project.
Mr. Wick was originally appointed to the South Dakota Abstracters Board of Examiners, the licensing and regulatory board for the title industry in the State, by Governor Mickelson in 1990. Reappointed by Governors Miller, Janklow, Rounds, and Daugaard, he is the current President of the Board. Greg is an approved instructor of Broker Level Land Title Courses in South Dakota through the South Dakota Real Estate Commission and is a frequent presenter of the Continuing Education topics for the South Dakota Land Title Association.

Jan Kirch currently holds the first (and only) Certified Exchange Specialist (CES®) Designation in the State of South Dakota through the Federation of Exchange Accommodators. Jan achieved her CES designation in 2004 and has been recognized state wide for her extensive knowledge of IRC Section 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchange transactions.
Jan is a Licensed Abstracter with over 25 years of experience in both title examination and escrow closing, and is an approved instructor of real estate continuing education courses through the South Dakota Real Estate Commission. As Escrow Officer, Kirch heads Pennington Title’s Escrow Closing Department and specializes in commercial real estate transactions.
Vice president & In-House Counsel
David Wick serves as Vice President and In-House Counsel of Pennington Title Company. He specializes in real property law, commercial transactions, and IRC Section 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchanges. Prior to joining our team, David worked for the private equity firm GI Partners and the Boston Consulting Group in San Francisco.
David received his B.S., summa cum laude, from Arizona State University, and his J.D. from Stanford University Law School. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the South Dakota State Bar Association, and the Pennington County Bar Association.
