Meet Our Management Team

Greg Wick, NTP, SDTP

President 

Greg Wick has over 40 years of experience in the land title industry and is President of Pennington Title Company. Greg has been honored with the National Title Professional (NTP) designation by the American Land Title Association (ALTA). He served on the South Dakota Land Title Association Board of Directors for six years, is a past SDLTA President, and a current member of its Legislative Committee. Greg was also a member of the Title Standards Revisions Committee of the Real Property, Probate & Trust Section of the South Dakota State Bar during its multi-year Title Standards revisions project.

Mr. Wick was originally appointed to the South Dakota Abstracters Board of Examiners, the licensing and regulatory board for the title industry in the State, by Governor Mickelson in 1990. Reappointed by Governors Miller, Janklow, Rounds, Daugaard, and Noem, he is the current Secretary/Treasurer of the Board. Greg is an approved instructor of Broker Level Land Title Courses in South Dakota through the South Dakota Real Estate Commission and is a frequent presenter of the Continuing Education topics for the South Dakota Land Title Association.

Jenifer Ehmann, SDTP

Operations Manager

Jenifer joined Pennington Title in 2019 and is a South Dakota Licensed Abstracter. Originally from Colorado with an accounting background she was initially tasked with digitizing and streamlining our Construction Disbursement department. Jen continues to lead that team and was elevated to our Operations Manager several years ago. Jenifer and her husband Rick previously owned Shamrock Auto where they specialized in marketing high end and exotic previously owned vehicles. Jen currently serves on the Board of the South Dakota Land Title Association.

Taylor Reber

Commercial Closing Coordinator and Exchange Specialist

As our Exchange Specialist, Taylor has helped hundreds of Pennington Title clients successfully complete Section 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges. She worked with and trained for nearly nine years under Jan Kirch, the first Certified Exchange Specialist in the state of South Dakota. In addition to exchanges, Taylor is the go-to member of our Commercial Closing Department team. Her early background with Pennington Title was in title search and production and Taylor is also a South Dakota Licensed Abstracter.

David Wick

Vice president & In-House Counsel

David Wick serves as Vice President and In-House Counsel of Pennington Title Company. He specializes in real property law, commercial transactions, and IRC Section 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchanges.  Prior to joining our team, David worked for the private equity firm GI Partners and the Boston Consulting Group in San Francisco.

David received his B.S., summa cum laude, from Arizona State University, and his J.D. from Stanford University Law School. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the South Dakota State Bar Association, and the Pennington County Bar Association.
